I am so happy today, because..
Yesterday, we ‘balik kampung’ at Tamparuli, after almost 6 months never going home. Waaa.. it’s been a while, padahal it’s very near to my place. Why happy? Because I saw a positive improvements of my dad. Although, he still in the process of recovering, but for me, I’ve waited too long for this moment. Hopefully, within this month, he will recover 100% and be my dad as before.
My son is enjoying his new ‘toys’ which are fun education videos and books from Grolier
. Among all those ‘toys’, he loves Disney Magic English a lot. Even me myself also like the programs. He also enjoys to see colorful images from the books. I felt touched with his effort to always want to try to repeat the words that has been taught. At least we know, even though the program is expensive, but it’s worthwhile..
I think, it’s important for me to record every memorable moments, especially the happy moments. I want to share it as soon as possible because life isn’t always fair. Sometimes we felt down and having a written memories can always cheers us up. And that’s why I don’t like to share my difficult moments for obvious reason. Wish you all have a good day today..
Abraham Daniel is now 3 months old. Things he can do: stares at faces, smiles, laughs, responds to sound, gurgles & coos (vocalizes), follow objects’ movements with his eyes, notices his hands, hold heads at 45-degree angle, makes smoother movements and sometimes loves to suck his thumbs.
My baby sucks her thumb all the time. Should I try and stop him?
Babies generally suck their thumb to soothe themselves, which is good, because they need to learn how to rely on their own resources. The ability to regulate or control one’s behavior and emotions is an important developmental challenge. When your child sucks her thumb, he’s finding ways to make himself feel better without your help.
You don’t have to stop your child from sucking his thumb right now. In general, thumb-sucking is more irritating to parents than it is harmful to kids. Your baby will stop when he’s ready and has developed other ways of soothing himself.
